The next weekend, I decided to try and see again if the trees had turned in DC, because they were in Maryland. Tuf joined me this time and we ended up driving to my work on 16th street and then walking to one of our favorite sandwich shops in DC, Jetties. After lunch we realized we were close to this giant Einstein statue that we had been trying to see since we moved here 2 years ago. Check that off of the list of things to see in DC.
The mall was still pretty green but we did find a couple beautiful trees.
We walked over to the Tidal Basin and it still very green, but we did find something new.
It was a nice fall day for a walk.
