As I have referenced many of times there are not a lot of metro locations along the mall or Tidal Basin area. So, we walked across Memorial Bridge towards Arlington National Cemetery to look at the tulips that Tuf told us about. I love tulips!
We estimated that we walked about 7 miles that day - but that is what you do in DC, you walk. It was an amazing day and again - we forgot sunscreen. On our way home we stopped at Chili's and enjoyed an amazing watermelon margarita!
Have I mentioned how much I love DC!
