35th Birthday

Another year older. Yay! I guess. I have to admit, I am spoiled when it comes to presents from friends and last years birthday was amazing, so this year, I was like - okay, whatever it is just another day. Plus, I wasn't at MAF where we did birthday week. Well Barb and everyone at MAF surprised me with a birthday week box! I was truly touched by this amazing gesture. I loved all the gifts and all the writing and Grumpy Cat saying in the box. I am blessed.

Even 1 year old Finn told me happy birthday!

This was everything in my birthday box!
On Friday, Ri had me call her on my lunch and she sent me on a little scavenger hunt. She is so creative and thoughtful. She had arranged for a free Starbucks drink, but sadly she didn't know (nor does most of the world) that there are 2 Pew's (The Trusts and the Research Center), while both are in DC, they are not close to one another. However, I was still able to get the beautiful flowers she had for. Seriously, these are the most beautiful flowers ever!

Martha got me my favorite drink - Bubble Tea!
Even my eye doctor and dentist wished me a happy birthday :)
Others sent amazing gifts that can be used in Idaho (Stacy and Yesenia - thank you) and Lisa sent me a great Idaho photo that I will be hanging in my new home.
On my actual birthday, Tuf arranged for a couple friends (Melissa and Ressa) to meet us in Old Town for Thai at this awesome place that Karen introduced me to. Tuf and Anthony also spoiled me with my favorite TV show (if you don't know what that is, than we are not true friends) and tickets to Christian concert.
What a wonderful 2nd birthday on the east coast. Trick sentence, because, I have actually celebrated another birthday on the east coast. I turned 29 in Boston with Karen and Kimberley.
