January 1, 2016
For our 2nd year on the east coast, we are making the effort to do more things around the area of DC. We have the DC tourist things down pack.
So, we had heard about Great Falls of the Potomac River but we had never been there - until now. It is a beautifully state park, practically in our backyard! According the trusty Wikipedia, "the water flows over a series of 20-foot falls, falling a
total of 76 feet in elevation over a distance of less than 1 mile making the Great Falls the steepest fall line rapids of any
river in the eastern United States."
Tuf looks so amazing and doing such a great job getting her health in control. She is a role model to me!
Happy first day of 2016!
