Zach's last day in DC

Zach's last day in DC. We started the day by going to the White House, so Zach could see it during the day time.

 Protest at the White House.
Lafayette Square (across from the White House)
After the White House, we made our way to Virginia to visit Arlington National Cemetery.
The Tomb of the Unknown Solider:
View of Arlington National Cemetery and DC from the Arlington House.
 Iwo Jima

Hard to believe that this gorgeous day was in December.

After Arlington National Cemetery, we went over to the Pentagon to see the 9/11 Memorial. After the Pentagon, we went to the Natural History Museum so Zach good take pictures of "Dumb Dumb" for the kids.

For our final couple hours in DC, we went to my favorite restaurant, Matchbox in Chinatown.

Having Zach visit me in DC, was a dream that I never thought would happen. We had an amazing time together. I was able to mark off one of Zach's bucket list items. We saw a ton of awesome things and most of all we were able to bond in a way that we had never bonded to before. I am truly blessed that we had this opportunity.
