After going to the U.S. Botanic Garden we made our way back to Alexandria for the annual lighted boat parade on the Potomac River. It had been raining steadily since after the Scottish Walk Parade, but we still toughed it out and stood in the rain to see the parade. It was really fun!
The pictures don't show how great these boats were decorated with lights. Hopefully, next year it won't be raining. It was still a great experience.
On the way home on the metro, I told Tuf to put her hand on the window and said, this is what it will be like when you visit me in prison. Ah, the things that go through my mind :)
We pretty much rocked Christmas stuff today!
