Christmas Eve at Mount Vernon

On Christmas Eve Day, we went to Mount Vernon to see the third floor. You can't take pictures while in the house but if you are ever in DC, I would highly recommend hanging out at Mount Vernon. The grounds are beautiful and the house is amazing. On the third floor there are 4 more bedrooms including the bedroom that Martha Washington moved to after George Washington died.
Such beautiful grounds. There are sheep off in the distance.
Inside the visitors center are a lot of beautiful decorated Christmas trees.

Also at Christmas time you get to see George Washington's Camel!
Aladdin liked eating the wood off the side of his house.
It was another very rainy day in Virginia (what else is new?).
Looking at the Potomac from the back porch of the mansion.
Merry Christmas from Mount Vernon!

A Christmas... camel. Interesting. At least you could make some sort of connection to the nativity scene, I suppose. :-)
