Korean Memorial Wall:
Next up is was the flooded Tidal Basin:
This statue was given to the US, by the Japanese along with all the cherry blossom trees!
One of the most amazing memorials, FDR:

Flooding at the Jefferson Memorial:
As we were walking to Chinatown to meet the cousins for dinner at Pi we walked past The Bureau of Engraving and Printing:
After dinner we went home. Chels knows of a cool website where we could find out how much we walked. When you add in the stairs and the walking in the metro we walked around 9.5 miles!
I am so thankful that one of my dearest friends visited me. Chels and I meet when we were 19 years old in Lewiston, Idaho. We were roommates for a couple years. I was her maid of honor in her wedding and have been there when both her boys were born. And just like any relationship we have had our ups and downs. But I know that we will always be apart of each other lives, because we are close like sisters. Love you Chel...se..A!!!!
