Christmas Eve - NYC - Part 1

This is Tuf and my last Christmas on the east coast together. She had said a few times that she would like to see New York City at Christmastime, so for her main Christmas gift I bought Amtrak tickets (another first for her - she had never been on a train before), to New York City. We left the apartment at 5am and drove to BWI, where we caught a 5:55am train.

I was able to sleep on the train a little and Tuf got some beautiful photos of the scenery from the train.
How many trees would we see today? Our first tree sighting was a Penn Station.
We stopped at a NYC coffee shop called Gregory's for some coffee and pastries.
After coffee our fist stop of the day was to go to a Hillsong. We love Hillsong and were excited to go to one of their US churches. Hillsong NYC church was just 2 blocks from Penn Station. Maybe because it was Christmas Eve and maybe because we were in New York City but we had to go through a security check before going inside and once inside we had to wait a little longer...
Inside was a beautiful old theatre, The service was a nice Christmas themed service.
After church we walked towards Rockefeller Center and found a pot truck along the way...
Don't worry...we didn't buy anything from the weed truck. But we stopped at a random Chinese restaurant and had a very nice lunch.
