First Few Hours in NYC!

Tuf's friend James came to visit starting on Thursday, March 31. James had been to DC before so we planned a 2 day trip to NYC. We procrastinated a little bit and so when we started booking tickets Amtrak was to expensive, so we were going to try this bus thing that people talk about. Anthony and I have these grand ideas and sometimes they should just stay ideas, but this one was not. We decided to take an overnight bus so that we could maximize our time in the big apple. We can sleep on the bus, right? No, no, no, you can't. Our Megabus left out of Union Station at 12:30am and as we were backing out of the garage we hit a guard rail. This trip was off to a great start!
After a little over 5 hours on the dreaded bus we made it! The first thing we did was find the nearest Starbucks to get caffeine and to get ready for the day (yes, we looked a little homelessnee). Next we made our way to Rockefeller Center and saw some of the taping of The Today Show.

Next, we walked to Time Square and grabbed some breakfast.

We were able to see some of the taping of GMA!

Just some cops chillin in Time Square with some very long guns...
Time Square baby!
The best milkshakes ever at the restaurant in our hotel. On the left was a fruity pebble milkshake, i was a banana base with the cereal fruity pebbles mixed in. My milkshake was coffee flavor - it was amazing!
