Wow! I am really horrible at blogging these days and I am just going to go out on a limb and say that I probably won't blog that much once I finish these catch up blogs. In 2 months I am leaving Idaho and I am going to enjoy the last 2 months in Idaho and not in front of a computer. But right now I don't want to write about the fact that I am leaving Idaho (because it does make me sad and when I am sad I cry...a lot.) So, let's back up 2 months ago when I got to see my childhood best friend.
Duana and I have known each other since we were 8 years old, we became friends in the 3rd grade. Majority of my childhood memories involve Duana. We were inseparable and the best of friends. We had many great times together and many hard times, but we remained friends. After high school we went to different colleges and our lives started to go in different directions. But we still occasionally stayed in contact, though the last time we had seen each other was in 2008. So, when Duana texted me and said they were going to be in Idaho I was so excited.
We were able to get together for dinner and I got to meet her oldest daughter and youngest son. We talked for 4 straight hours and while time has passed we are still friends to the core. I am so blessed that my childhood involved this amazing person and while it has been a few years since we were in high school we can still get together and it is like old times. Childhood best friends are such a great experience!
