On Saturday, May 7, we did a local event. Passport DC!!! I love this event. You are able to go into certain embassies. This is the second year that I have done Passport DC and I was so excited to share it with someone.
Our first embassy tour was Mozambique:
Next up, Botswana:
Argentina, looked interesting, so we stood in line for about 40 minutes to get in and it was well worth it!
They showed us a short video, fed us and we watched some dancing, including the tango!
After Argentina we walked through a display of a couple countries.
Then we made our way to the Brazilian Embassy.
In honor of the 2016 Olympics in Brazil, the embassy had past Olympic torches.
Here is a replica of the torch that is currently moving through Brazil. It is a pretty amazing torch and is collapses!
After Brazil we made our way back to DuPont and stopped in at the Indonesian Embassy.
After our long day of touring around the embassies we had a late lunch at a burger joint and then grabbed a bubble-tea, before we headed home for another chill evening!
