Cherry Blossoms I missed you - last year the weather was not good to you and this year the weather has delayed your bloom. But it was all worth it. Spring time in DC is bipolar - one minute it is warm and the next minute it is snowing. On Friday, April 6 was a beautiful day and I happened to have the day off! So, after lunch with a friend I walked to the National Mall and then around the Tidal Basin. It was a fun walk and the first time I have ever walked around the cherry blossoms alone. I liked it because I was able to go at my own pass.
Love the cherry blossoms in DC - it is magical and something that I feel so honored to have been able to experience a few times.
