Christmas Tree's in DC

On Friday, December 22 - Tuf and I did the annual tradition of the wonderful Christmas trees around DC. We first started by driving to Friendship Heights where Tuf works, parking, getting Starbucks and taking a photo next to the first of many trees we would encounter this evening.
Next we made our way to the US Capitol to see the People's tree. This year the tree was from Montana.

 A real life moving tree...

After the People's Christmas Tree we walked over to Chinatown for dinner at Matchbox. On the way to Matchbox we stumbled upon the Canadian Embassy and their beautiful tree. We hadn't seen this tree before.

After an another amazing dinner at Matchbox we walked over to the expensive City Center area.

Last on our evening of trees tour was the National Christmas Tree at the Eclipse on the White House. This tree was super pretty this year.

It was a wonderful evening with the cousin. We walked a lot (but what else is new when you are in DC). We reminisced about the year's past and marveled at how this was our 4th and last holiday season in DC. Whatever the future holds, one thing I know is that through this roller coaster of the last 3.5 years on DC living, I am extremely thankful for it and I am thankful to the cousin for going on this adventure with me.
